Glasses Case for a Sunny Day

Hallo Hallo! Today is a fantastic sunny day in between those rainy and tedious days that are following one another in our spring.
It is also the day of 4 birthdays of friends of mine. One is of a girl who likes sun and for whom I've made this singular glasses case.

Hope really to make more of those, with leather felt and wool.

Baby changing pad

Still waiting for the due date, I've made my own baby changing pad with a layer of towel fabric and a layer of colorful fabric that I've got in Italy. Last touch: I added a Swiss symbol. ;)

 

What do you think? Should I make more and sell them?

Puff with handmade polka dots

 Ohhh! It is since Easter I haven't written here...

My mind is at least every other day here in the blog, but after something is pushing me back.
I finally understood that I'm not really at ease with this blog, because I don't know yet if somebody is reading or what I show is really interesting.
Let's say that I do it for fun... even if sometimes it's not very funny without feedback..
But, the main reason why I wasn't writing, it is the loss of time.

In these days I'm am in the maternity premaman leave. I'm starting to make stuff that before I couldn't do.

Here is the stuff anyway that I made in the last period:

I decorated a simple white puff with new textil colors and a rounded sponge from the shoe-cleaner of my houseband.

 A "svuota-tasche" (empty pockets) that contains all the stuff from the pocket, like keys, wallet, coins, badges, and so on.

I did also an embrodery of the name of our future boy with a boat in a sheet for the small bad...

Centrepiece with Coloured Pasta

In a moment full of decorative inspirations, due to the moving, I made up this centrepiece!

Those are the materials I use:

-1 big candle and 1 bigger transparent glass vase.

- 1/2 kg of penne rigate (or whatever shape of pasta that you most like).

- 3 acrylic colors and a white acrylic tube for the gradual mixing.

- 1 paint brush.

- 2 bowls: 1 for the colors and 1 for the water.

 1) After using the white to colors a 1/4 of the penne, and using the silver with the white to color another 1/4 of the penne, I mixed the light blu with the left mixed white-silver color.

Here I show you the last mix: I mixed the dark blu with the left mixed color.

 

 

And that's the centrepiece for our balkon!

2013 Poster

January has been tough, but full of new great experiences.

I am studying for an important exam I have this very Saturday. We are going to move next month to a bigger apartment. And last but not least, we are expecting our first baby!

I didn't have so much time to develop this blog, but I found time to do this new Poster 2013, full of wishes for this year.2012 has been great, but 2013 will be even special, I believe!
